‘The Onus’ by Elizabeth Wright

Screen Shot 2018-06-05 at 12.50.28 PMI’ve got a bit of an ulterior motive for you in sharing this piece of creative nonfiction. Tomorrow, STORGY is publishing a piece that I wrote, so I thought I’d feature the incredibly company I’ll be keeping by sharing “The Onus” by Elizabeth Wright. Normally I’m more attracted to more narrative pieces, but Wright does such a gorgeous job describing her experience that I fell in love with this essay anyway. It provides such incredible insight to her experience, and experience I’m sure a lot of people are sharing, that I couldn’t help but be entranced by it. Go read it. And then go to STORGY again tomorrow to read my piece 😉

Want to read more creative nonfiction essays I’ve recommended? Find the most popular one here. Interested in one that is currently under-appreciated (or perhaps less interesting?) Try this one instead.
